Cookies and browser storage
Cookies accompany requests to the server. Local storage stays in your browser and is not automatically sent with each request. This website uses local preferences and cookies necessary for developer access. It uses no marketing technologies.
Your statistics choice
newoult-consent — this website’s local storage. Records your statistics choice, notice version and date. The choice is valid for 180 days, after which we ask again. The record can remain on your device until replaced or cleared, but no longer authorizes statistics after expiry. This preference is necessary to respect your decision.
Appearance
newoult-theme — this website’s local storage. Remembers your appearance choice: light, dark or system. It remains until you change it or clear browser storage. It is not used to track visits.
Language is included in the page address and follows your navigation. We do not create a language cookie.
Private developer access
sb-…-auth-token — Supabase authentication cookie, which may be split into numbered parts. It is needed only when using private access. It stores session data and is not used for statistics. It uses HttpOnly and SameSite=Lax protection, with Secure in production.
The SDK’s default storage lifetime for this cookie is up to 400 days and can be renewed with the session. This does not guarantee that the session remains valid that long: the service controls session validity, and signing out clears the cookies. Blocking them prevents private access.
Vercel Web Analytics
Optional category: statistics. The integration loads only after consent. We create no analytics or marketing cookies; Vercel documents that Analytics uses a temporary request hash without third-party cookies. Processing details and report duration are explained in the Privacy Policy.
Changing your choice
Use “Cookie settings” in the footer to accept, reject or customize statistics. Rejection does not prevent browsing. Withdrawal stops new submissions. A notice-version update, an expired choice or clearing browser data may make the notice appear again.
You can also clear cookies and local storage through your browser settings. This removes preferences and may end developer access. Questions: newoult@gmail.com.
